The premise of this book is how an American helped Pakistani communities build schools for the children.

His accomplishments are great, but for me there were too many people and places to keep track of. I got lost in the who and where's of this book and lost interest in the real story.

I am very interested in what Mr. Mortenson achieved, but the story lacked something to keep me reading it.

If you enjoy all of the details in a story, this would work for you. I, unfortunately, do not so this book was boring and I struggled to get through it.
