As far as finding new music goes, I consider myself lucky. There’s a store where I live that receives shipments of CD’s in overstock and so I can get away with trying new artists without a huge investment. On my last trip to the store, “The Yind CD” caught my eye for several reasons which I’ll outline in my review.

The first interesting thing about this CD is that none of the tracks have names, but in the same way it’s purely instrumental music. It has a smooth, alternative/indi/rock style put together by artists Brandt Sandeno, Justin Trosper, and Vern Rumsey.

I can’t give this CD enough praise. The cover art drew my attention to buy it, and the sound is perfect to put on for background noise, or listening to on its own. My criticism comes from the lack of pamphlet information in the CD insert, and how the tracks are set up. The first track is about 5 minutes in length while the second hits around 13. Then the last three vary in length but all come in under 7 minutes. If the CD were at full price I may not have taken a chance on buying it, but it was definitely worth much more than I paid for.
