28 weeks later picks up well 28 weeks later after the first 28 days later, if that maeks sense to you, this sequel really aims to further explore the rage virus, and introduces the virus carrier element of the story which is vital to the pivotal turning point in the film at subsequent stages of the unfolding arc.

I first saw Forbidden Planet when I was a kid, and I loved it. When I saw the DVD, I was a little worried, would it be as good as I remembered, or will it, like so many other film I’d loved, be so bad as to be unwatchable. Well, I’m pleased to say that it stands up to the test of time. Oh, the dialogue may sound a little dated, but the storyline and the artwork are perfect. It’s also an important film in the science fiction genre. There are no ‘aliens’ as such, no big laser battles, no big bug-eyed monsters jumping out at people. Instead, we have an intelligent film with characters that are believable and likeable. Its importance lies a great deal in the production values. The vast open vistas utilizing cinemascope, its color palette, not quite as saturated as some films, and its special effects, are all of a superior quality to most other science fiction films being made around that time. The movement of the flying saucer (this time peopled not with aliens bent on destruction, but by humans on a rescue mission) is almost flawless, with none of the wobble found in some of the contemporary films of the time. It went on to influence many other films and television series, not least the original Star Trek. In fact, at one point, the crew step on what appears to be the transporters from Trek.

This is undoubtedly one of the best sci-fi movies of all time. Joss Whedon took his Firefly series and turned it into a masterpiece of a film. It is a perfect combination of intense action sequences, phenomenal plot line, and the off color wit that made Firefly so wildly popular.

The x files produced by Chris Carter has spreaded it's Movie popularity all over the world. This movie is a science-fiction and fanatsy related series. The story follows around the FBI of Washington DC. Two special agents named Fox Mulder [David Duchhovny] and [Gillian Anderson]

This film was definitely directed towards those of us who grew up on Transformers, and I for one thought Michael Bay and Stephen Spielberg did a wonderful job. First and foremost, the special effects are like nothing I have ever seen before. The transformations made me giggle every time, and I loved how seamlessly the graphics seemed to fit into the film. The issue with big special effects films (particularly those of Michael Bay) is that they usually lack in character and story. This is where Shia LaBeouf steps in. I'm sure we'll see a lot of him in the future. His wit and charm were sensational, and made up for his counterparts looks and little character.

Taking place in a quiet up and comming suburban neighborhood the ghosts present themselves a mischevious moving objects and then later take Carol ann to the otherside.
