Underoath - Survive Kaleidoscope CD & DVD Review

Hard Rock and Metal
As I mentioned in my review for the recent Tooth and Nail Records release "A Fire So Big the Heavens Can See It" by Search the City, Underoath is one of the bands that has amassed quite an avid following.

Chiodos!

Hard Rock and Metal
So if you like all kinds of rock music boy do I have an awesome band to tell you about, that you've most likely not heard of. Just beacuse they don't have mainstream success doesn't mean they aren't good, tust me.

Don't give up Rammstein

Hard Rock and Metal
This album isn't terrible, but it isn't great either. The best parts of the album are where Emigrate sound most like Rammstein. The worst parts are where they sound Euro pop, and sometimes the English lyrics don't make much sense.

Marilyn Manson- What A Comeback...

Hard Rock and Metal
First and foremost, I would like to say that I was not excited to hear this album. I was truly let down with the release of Mechanical Animals, and I thought Mansons' run was over. But upon hearing it, I changed my mind.

Marilyn Manson- Unstoppable

Hard Rock and Metal
Manson has done it again. Made another excellent album, that is. Perhaps, I'm biased...well, I'm sure I am. I'm completely captivated by his talent and you should be too. Eat Me, Drink Me has a different kind of feel than the other albums. A little less evil, a little more heart-felt. It definately shows a deeper side to Manson, not like we didn't know it was there. The first track, If I was Your Vampire, is my favorite. It's Manson-edgy, but strangely soothing. Maybe it's just me. Actually I would classify the entire album as just that.

"Switch" by INXS

Hard Rock and Metal
this is one brilliant album in my opinion. I'd liked the original INXs alot, so i decided to try out this one too. The new Vocalist JD Fortune makes the album a joy to listen to with his melancholic voice.

Tool - 10000 Days

Hard Rock and Metal
Anticipation May 2, 2006 was a glorious day for fans of rock music, with album releases by Pearl Jam, Thursday, and Tool. As a fan of the whole spectrum of rock, I was thrilled about all of the releases, but mostly I was excited about the new Tool album because of the band’s tendency to have long waits between release dates. More than five years after the release of ‘Lateralus’, Tool has finally given us the much anticipated ‘10,000 Days’.

Emery - The Question

Hard Rock and Metal
The Story A friend of mine was recently describing one of his favorite bands when he mentioned that they fell under a genre called "emo". I had heard this term thrown around many times before, but it has never been clear in my mind just what emo is exactly, so I asked him. "You just have to hear it" was the best I could get from him, so I took his advice and picked up a copy of 'The Question' by the South Carolina sextet Emery.
