“The Gruffalo” is another of our all time favourites. It is so well written and such a great story. The boys can recite it word for word and never get sick of it. This story is destined to become a classic of this generation like “Three Little Pigs” or “Little Red Riding Hood” was for my generation.

In the words of Brian Jacques, “Come with me, my warriors, off on the trail of high old adventure!” That is exactly what Matthias, the bumbling novice mouse, does. It is set in Redwall, a woodland abbey inhabited by small animals.

This is a wonderfully written story about a little girl and his family trying to save enough to buy a chair for her mother. They have previously lost everything in a fire. They continue their life with the help of a caring community and a bit of patience.

I'm a big fan of Roald Dahl's writing and Quentin Blake's illustrations. Roald Dahl has written many funny children's books such as The BFG, The Twits, James and the Giant Peach, The Witches, and Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

My baby was introduced to Elmo's World when she was a few months old. I showed it to her to distract her while she has a meal. She's really active. She was able to recognise Elmo anywhere. When I showed this book to her at the bookstore, her face just lightened up. That was when I decided to get it for her.

I was looking for a book to read to my baby, just a few months old then. When I saw this book from the Puffin Baby series, the picture of the baby on the front cover seems to be waving at me. It was really attractive!

The hobbit was the first fantasy book I ever read and it really inspired me to think of fantasy worlds and the imagination as a creative tool. The hobbit for me was a book that was easy to read even more so than the lord of the rings I later went on to read, it also was the book that started all of the rings journeys and it gave a good high quality back story to an epic trilogy later on, it introduced us to worlds and fantasy genres that we now know and love today.

Great Book! Perfect for children. It starts off a little slow, just describing the characters, Conor, his father, Declan, and Princess Isabella. Conor always as a young child, wanted to fly, and when he witnesses a murder of the king, and gets blamed for it, all hopes and dreams were lost.

Silent to the Bone, is a fictional mystery, written by E. L. Konisburg, about a thirteen year old boy. The story mainly takes place at the Juvenile Behavioral Center, Branwell Zamborska, is being held there because they think he hurt his baby half - sister, Nikki.

This book is amazing. It is a perfect end to the wonderful series of Harry Potter. It is full of spellbinding intrigue and a lot of unexpected surprises. So well written that you think you are there with Harry and his friends fighting He Who Shall Not Be Named. This book is perfect for children and adults alike as this book shows us how Harry has grown up and the life threatening decisions he must make with self-sacrifice and poise.
