Okay, so the graphics aren't fabulous, and it can be a little cheesy at times. But, that's all part of it's charm! Christopher Reeve was nearly passed up for the role, on the basis that he wasn't muscular enough to be Superman. But, he did an amazing job as both the savior of Metropolis, and the mild-mannered, geeky Clark Kent.

A man is dead, a woman was raped, and that's all that can be definitely said. Somebody has committed murder, but nobody knows whodunnit. And that's the basic plot of Akira Kurosawa's "Rashomon," a hauntingly pessimistic look at how the "truth" can be warped and changed by different people's perspectives. It's a magnificently eerie piece of work, filled with suspense and some really astounding acting -- particularly from Toshiro Mifune as a laughing bandit.

Now what are you dirty whores doin on our planet? this question sums it all up perfectly and the aliens are really dumb nuts too as they all look like kiwi convicts just hired on a day release. Peter Jacksons first proper film that took four years to complete, mainly as a hobby with some of his work chums, and all the special effects were home made too, this cult classic gives all the blood and splatter you'd expect from an eighites horror comedy film, much like that of the evil dead, it's all played for laughs and good old fashioned blood and guts.

Danielle is a lively young girl raised by her father, a widower. When her father marries again, Danielle is not at all against it; in fact she says she likes her step-mother (Anjelica Huston) and her two new sisters. Danielle’s father soon dies of a heart attack, and the step-mother takes over the household. Being a baroness, she considers Danielle a commoner and reduces her to the position of a servant. She also knows little about money management and squanders everything, so when Danielle grows up the family is deep in debt, trying hard to keep the appearance of being rich.
