Review:

I am so addicted to HBO’s series of Rome. It is filled with everything that a person would want: sex, nudity, violence, mystery, and more sex. The first season is about the rise and fall of Julius Caesar, his battles with Pompeii and his eventual fall by Brutus. However, this series is not just a historical factual recall; it is intermingled with stories of real people and how they influence politics and history. It also focuses on the ‘female’ manipulation and battles behind the political debates. The architecture on the set of Rome is not factual to the actual layout of Rome. The lifestyles depicted in Rome is very accurate to the actual lifestyle of Romans that we know about; i.e. the sexuality, the use of graffiti, the political unions, the debates, the view of slavery, the view of other religions, etc. I was totally addicted!
