If you enjoyed MST3k's ten year run on TV at all, you will more than likely love this movie. Mike and the bots get sent the not-really-that-bad sci-fi flick 'This Island Earth', and find more than ample opportunity for loving mockery.

The movie itself stars a bunch of people you've never heard of (except for the guy who played the Professor on Gilligan's Island, but he gets killed pretty quick), and the host segments include the inimitable Tom Servo, the always gold and shiny Crow T. Robot, and our hero, the trapped-in-space everyman that is Mike Nelson. Doctor Clayton Forrester is responsible for the deep hurting, and the only no-show id TV's Frank, who left the show just before the movie was made.

The movie rolls, guys with huge foreheads pretend their not aliens, a house gets blown up, spaceships appear, mu-tants appear, people are placed in smoke filled plastic tubes, a planet explodes, then a spaceship explodes. Other things occur, but we have no information on that.
