Project Runway on Bravo TV featuring Heidi Klum as the programs host (she is also one of the Executive Producer$) has commented about the fashion designers who are already working in the Fashion Industry and participate in this reality TV show.

Taking a group of people who already know the basics of cutting patterns and fitting them to the female form, then sewing them together into a finished garment from "found materials" like the sheets on your bed or your apartment's window curtains is a test of any designers creativity.
I find the creative process interesting, that the audience can learn along with the Project Runway participants no matter how accomplished we are at what we do.
There is the possibilty that a major chain, like Target, may pick-up on one of these designers and a career reaching millions of fashion consciuos customers could be launched.
