Atomic Kitten has all grown up and has taken the pop scene o a more mature and, let's just say, "un-girl band" level. A far cry from their first album, the girls re-introduce themselves as women, having truly grown musically, stylistically and visually. i'm impressed at how well they went full force with the British pop sound; there wasn't much live instrumentation, but they were unapologetic for the pop-techno style. Sound wise, the closest comparison I could make would be Kylie Minogue (and they are far more beautiful than her), and they don't at all sound bad! It must be the fervor of embracing their craft that makes them cut above the rest. Unlike the Spice Girls, who, in plying with different sounds, lost their identity, Atomic Kitten gained their own. It's nothing too deep, but it's stable enough to get them their own spotlight. Don't expect anything too artistic, but do expect loads of L.S.S. (last song syndrome); it's extremely cute, bubbly and goes well with all those chick flicks. And if the whole music thing doesn't work, they can always take a crack at modeling or even acting in Hollywood.
