Rang de Basanthi is a hindi movie starring Aamir Khan,Madhavan,Sidharth etc, Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra is the director of this movie. the script starts from london where a film institute student Sue namely , does a research on her grand father who worked in india during the british rule.he saw many freedom fighters like Bhagat singh, ashwat gulam khan,durga bhai etc and writes about their courage to fight against british to get freedom for their country.sue prepares a script and even learns hindi to make the movie.she ius inneed of money but the company that she approaches refuse so she comes to india to proceed the movie on her own.

There she stays with an indian girl and meets four her friends who live a joyful fun life with no responsibilities. the first spot that she met them in a night roaming area where everybody party.there comes another group claiming that they are the culture protectors of india and fights with these four guys.the polce comes the hero namely DJ(Aamir Khan)gives money to the police man,sue saws it and ask to another guy sidharath "Was that a Bribe" then he Replies "Welcome to India sue" a punching line.then they become friends and sue find them perfectly matching to her script. But these guys makes fun of her telling that their country(india)wont improve because of population,unemployment,corruption etc .but ajay(madhavan) who was an airforce officer keeps saying that "NO COUNTRY IS PERFECT WE HAVE TO MAKE IT PERFECT"
Finally some how they manage to accept they start to shoot,each and everybody while shooting realizes how much their characters(freedom fighters of india)are.....starts to feel the freedom thought and develop patriotism.
at one shot general dyre who was responsible for jalian wala bagh massacre. he killed so many people by shooting them in a non-escapable ground.this news comes to the freedom fighters they look tense suddenly one asks what shall we do,durga bhai a woman freedom fighter says "MAAR DAALAO" means kill him . then they kill them.this scene makes everyone to feel.how much their freedom fighter were couragious.as the story goes,ajay(madhavan)dies in an air crash(MIG-21)but saves a village but sacrificing his life.His friends doubt the plane had problem then ajay(madhavan)trainer says he is the best in the whole wing.then rumours starts to mount that the parts of the plane were duplicate and it was a real scam while purchasing the parts.this erupts his friends and family they go for a rampage against the politician.but they were beaten by the police by instruction of the politician.finally their friends look tense thinking what to do,the girl who acted as durga bhai says "MAAR DAALAO" as it mixes with the freedom fighters life.this was an intresting move in the screen play as they do the same thing that they acted for the movie scenes .they kill them and then they go to a radio station with guns and pistols and tell what they have done.people start to support them by calling but the government asks to send the commandos and shoot them instead of arresting them.people see this and hear this and erupts and take an oath to clean country by getting rid of these corruptionist politicians and the corruption.this movie is my all time favorite.it has all the aspects the screenplay is bravoooooooooooooooooooo....................
