MacHeads Movie Review
Macheads is a 54 Minute documentary film. It is not rated.
This movie is focused on real-life Macheads, people who are passionately loyal, and obsessed with Apple computer products and accessories.
As a Microsoft user or "PC" user who has never used any Apple product I found this documentary about the Machead subculture very informative. I had never realized that Apple had, quite unintentionally, spawned a religious order where user group sessions act as church with Steve Jobs holding near-deity status.
The film is a lot of fun. The filmmakers found a perfect mix of characters ranging from passionate users to downright disturbing fanatics.
The film is not judgmental of Macheads at all. This was very refreshing. The film allows you to draw conclusions about this passionate group and, perhaps quietly, asks you to examine passions of your own.
The film is short, at times funny and a terrific eye-opener about this obsessed community.
