Killshot

Genre: Action/Crime/Drama/Thriller
Actors: Mickey Rourke,Joseph Gordon - Levitt, Diane Lane, Thomas Jane

Armand (Mickey Rourke) is a hitman working for the mafia. He loses his two brothers on a job, because of his negligence and after that he is insistent to quit. But he receives a call from his former employee offering him a job, where he needs to eliminate the mafia boss, and he takes it against the tempting reward. The job is done but because of his code "leaving no witnesses" the mafia resents him for what he did so now they are on him. He is forced to move in to a small indian reserve from where he originates. He is planning to settle down but again, everything changes when he runs into a bank robber Richie Nix (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), reminding him on his little brother who he lost. Because of that, he is ready to work with him as a partner on the robbery of a real estate agent, for a decent amount of cash. They didn't expect to run into brave welder Wayne Colson (Thomas Jane) and his wife Carmen Colson (Diane Lane) who prevented the robbery forcing them to escape. But now they are witnesses. And the job must be finished...

You will say nothing new here. Heard and seen such stories over a hundred times. But this movie is worth watching it because of two reasons:Mickey Rourke and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I liked Joseph even more but let me start with Mickey. It is nice to have him back. Roles of bad guys absolutely fits him. With his rough and cruel looking facial expressions and his indian outfit he is a real badass of the movie. Joseph plays the unusual role for him. Unstable, sarcastic and with no respect to human life. Annoying, but excellently performed character. If not the story, this two are absolutely good reasons to watch the movie.
