I, Alex Cross

James Patterson has done it again. I, Alex Cross is full of suspense and twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat. During Alex's birthday part he and his family are notified of the death of a family member. When Alex begins to investigate the murder he finds that his neice was a high priced call girl. During the course of the investigation Nana becomes ill and adds to the suspense of the novel and the stress of the character. This is the best family dynamic book of the series, in my opinion. The investigation leads to a series of suspects that appear to have covered their tracks well until the end when the real murder is revealed. It is a shocker... The epilogue to Phoenix Rising also is very promising with the return of an old favorite, the Mastermind. I am looking foward to reading this one as well.
