Frost/Nixon DVD Movie Review. Legenday David Frost Richard Nixon Interview

Frost/Nixon was filmed in 2008. It is rated R likely for occasional bad language.

I had some good expectations about this movie with the exception that I feared Frost/Nixon would at times be tedious and slow paced. This was not the case as Frost/Nixon moved along at an enjoyable pace.

Frank Langella plays Richard Nixon and does so brilliantly. He demonstrates that Nixon, even after office, was a powerful, charismatic force to be reckoned with. He masterfully displays Nixon's ability to bully, intimidate and frustrate David Frost for the majority of the interview.

Michael Sheen plays a convincing, desperate David Frost.

The supporting cast was wonderful and given a lot of time in the film. Kevin Bacon, playing Nixon's ultra-loyal Chief of Staff Jack Brennan, was an intriguing character who I instantly wanted to learn more about when the final credits rolled.

If you like American history and politics you'll love this fine acted film.
