Alfonzo - Blind as Faith

Edinburgh based foursome Alfonzo have successfully captured a sound that could potentially see them skyrocket to stardom.

The dirty, blues laced bass line that brings this vibrant piece of 70’s nostalgia rock n roll into play sets the scene for what becomes a blast from the past tune with a little bit of a modern shine. A screaming guitar riff fits hand in hand with the jangly keyboards and bouncing drum beat that keep this song fast paced and thrilling, making your bones shake with every second of this wholesome rock track. The rough vocals provided by Daniel McGeever couldn’t have fitted more perfectly, and the tight lyrics ensure that this song doesn’t fall short on any level. With a sound that can only be described as the screaming love child of The Answer and Led Zeppelin (and that just only brushes the surface) Blind as Faith offers a decent slice of rock and roll, a heavy dose of the blues and not an ounce of uncomplimentary nonsense.
