28 weeks later picks up well 28 weeks later after the first 28 days later, if that maeks sense to you, this sequel really aims to further explore the rage virus, and introduces the virus carrier element of the story which is vital to the pivotal turning point in the film at subsequent stages of the unfolding arc.

While very violent just like the first film, it brings with it a real moral dilemma of family circumstances against a national threat of such epic proportions.

In all I really liked this sequel and thought it did not re tread any ground made in the previous film, but rather expanded the action.
