I'm a fan Bob Lee Swagger. I've enjoyed all of Hunter's novels about this sniper hero. I admit, I liked the first one the best, and though some didn't like Swagger going off to Japan and learning the art of the sword, I did. That's because of my martial art background and time spent in Asia. So when I learned there was a new Swagger novel coming out, I was excited. Then I read the description that can be found on the inside book jacket and became a bit reserved. The character Carl Hitchcock is based on Marine Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock. Most people know this. My reservations were due to having known GySgt Hathcock.
